With so many obstructions to liberty fomenting in Washington and throughout our Nation, time is "a wasting" for the preservation of our liberties that the left would relish to see abridged.  It was reported today that the left-wing Madison, Wisconsin town council is preparing to make additional fast food "drive thrus" illegal so as to reduce car idling carbon emissions in their city.  Last I heard, the government could not dictate to us how we use our internal combustion engines, as long as we keep them in the legally-registered vehicle they came in and we obey local traffic rules.  But for a city government to attempt to exert control over how we lead our carbon-emmisive lives is a bit much.  I hope that the citizens of Madison do not abdicate their rights to idle their vehicles when and where they wish by taking appropriate civil action against the socialists that they voted into office.  With that said, it remains to be seen what similar action may be taken in your local town and what rights you may have to relinquish.  And it won't stop with carbon!  My hometown of Scottsdale, AZ used to be the "West's Most Western Town."  It was truly a desert oasis of great beauty. That was before liberal Californians moved in... in droves...and red light and speed cameras went up at countless intersections.  Now the place looks like the KGB has set up shop with cameras everywhere.  Even some of the wealthier communities have resorted to monitoring their residents with cameras as the enter and leave their gates,  with RFID technology in all vehicles logging you in and out, keeping records that any court could subpoena if they desired.  Private communities are no longer private.  Even in private areas, we can no longer have any expectation of privacy.  Less liberty. Less privacy. It's just a matter of time before your grocery stores will start to monitor your purchases of prepared foods versus "healthier fare," selling your eating habits to a Medical Information Bureau of sorts so that your insurance premiums can be maintained directly proprtional to your sodium intake.  So you think this is over the top?  A bit of overreaction?  Such monitoring is already happening.  In the 1990's, the carmakers devised a black box wired into the airbag circuits of your car that captures a snapshot of your speed, seat belt engagement, brake pedal engagement, etc. that tells the insurance company exactly what you were doing when you rear-ended the poor guy in front of you in heavy traffic this morning.  Dubbed the Event Data Recorder, this device was supposed to assist carmakers in the building of safer vehicles and was not meant to raise your insurance premiums or be used against you in court.  But then the insurance companies quietly purchased the download computers used to download the EDR data from your impounded car, sending the data off to the underwriter of your policy to redetermine your risk after determining your fault.  And this was all being done while a Republican Congress ruled the roost.  Can you imagine the breech of privacy and impact on liberty that a Democratic Congress will have with a Democratic Obama at the helm, with five liberal Justices as his "faithful navigators?"  These navigators have numerous times demonstrated a perverse desire to undermine the citizenry's safety by gifting excessive (Constitutional)rights to alien combatants, many of whom had already killed or mamed our soldiers on the battlefield.  These navigators have brought disgrace upon the judiciary with these and other decisions, and have our President convinced that he must adhere to each and every edict they expell from their bags of colonic wind.  Bush has done little to protect us from these judicial disgraces.  So you see, our rights are being degraded at the level of the township, the State, and the Country...and we have a Republican president!  Imagine the damage that will ensue when Obama drives us off the liberal cliff into the land of leftward loonies.  With a larger Democratic contingent in Congress in 2006 elected by a loonie American electorate,  with more seats to lose this fall, and with Obama executing folly left and ...left, the Supreme Jesters will demoralize our Nation further, and erode our privacy and liberty to unprecedented levels. Then comes the Fairness Doctrine, shutting down our radios....one of our last bastions of vocal liberty. There are so many reasons to reinvigorate the Sons of Liberty!  We must start this as a grassroots effort and we must do it soon...even better, now!   God save our miserable souls from the messianic Pied Piper they call Barack Hussein Obama.   We must stop his advance in the political trenches and send him back home to Illinois for some experience.

The old baseball adage, "Three strikes, your out!" should apply to the recent Supreme Court decision in favor or the Islamofascists held at Guantanimo.  This is the third time that the "liberal five" have come out against the Commander-in-chief and his Military.  In short, they have embarrassed our Nation in front of the world, and the President has erred three times by saying in knee-jerk fashion that he would follow their decision.  Given the inevitable loss of human life that will follow these bad decisions, Bush has more than enough reason to set their decisions aside, much like the stance taken by Lincoln during his administration.  And the U.S. Constitution does NOT prohibit this potential action.  The Supreme Court does not have greater power than the executive branch.  Nor is it saddled with protecting the Nation from threats, either foreign or domestic.  The President needs to rethink his decision to adhere to this horrific decision, and should follow the advice of the Chief Justice and the minority view immediately in this third case.  The Congress has the ultimate responsibility for overriding these poor decisions by the Court, even if it means forging a new amendment to the U.S. Constitution that the Court can never usurp.  The blood of those Americans that lose their lives due to this poor decision will be on the hands of every liberal Court member.  Duplicitous vipers like Souter and Breyer,  and feckless idiologues like Kennedy and Ginsburg, with liberal stalwarths like Stevens all made for a most treacherous decision with the primary intent of delivering lame-duck Bush a figurative "knock-out punch."  The President must not respond in Naive fashion, but rather should be bold and corrective in his approach to such a decision.  He should set the decision aside, knowing that impeachment for such a necessary action will never result in conviction by the Senate.  If he were to get impeached for such a protective action, it would not mean very much given the highly partisan atmosphere in Washington DC and the recent impeachment of Clinton.  History would view such an action as an overused mechanism employed by immature Congressmen.

If one reads between the lines of words spoken by Obama during his campaign thus far, it is intuitively obvious to even the lightest listener that Obama is defensively self-conscious about his Muslim upbringing, is concerned about his being labled  Muslim for reasons of political disadvantage, and continues to prevaricate to protect his campaign.  From the Middle Eastern perspective, he is a Muslim BY BLOOD and FOR LIFE, attended a mosque during his formative years, and is using the cover of a poorly practicing Christian as a ruse, plain and simple.

If one examines the tenets of Obama's mentor, one Reverend Wright, it becomes even more concerning that this mentor has influenced Obama with standard liberation theological-like views long held by the black Muslim community, which are exquisitely similar to, if not directly flavored by, the pillars of Islamic faith, violence and all.

Once an unbiased person brings him/herself up to speed on the tenets of these "faiths" by studying Christian liberation theology* and Islam (and this means reading a few books by Robert Spencer, as well as reviewing the Koran, its supporting documents and reviewing a thumbnail history of the necessity of the Crusades and the need for a Crusade of sorts today), Only then does one earn the right to argue that Obama is not a Muslim, either of the Middle Eastern variety or of the Farrakanian variety,

Obama would make a terrible US President because:

1. He has a implicit dislike for Israel, as taken from the gist of his comments on Palestine, Palestinians, and his statements regarding his need to sit down and talk with that Jew-hater and murderer Amadinejad once he becomes President.

2.He likely possesses a desire to "get back at the white community" to compensate for slavery and the current state of the inner city black that he and his wife would have you believe has been subjugated by the white race and discriminated against. This would be in keeping with the beliefs, perhaps, of Albert Camus, who believed that the post-revolutionary  French underclass was kept "under" by virtue of the aristocracy and not by virtue of a generalized self-inflicted amotivational syndrome of sorts. This unbridaled black backlash would truly represent the "Theater of the Absurd."

3. Obama would dismantle the military, thus leaving our Republic at great risk of damage, and with the caliphatious desires of so many millions of orthodox Muslims (once you self-educate about Islam, you'll learn that there is nothing radical about them) bent on fulfillment, do not doubt that the radical left within would unwittingly "team up" with the malevolent Muslims from without to destroy not any twin towers per se, but this time to decimate the tre' towers of our government, the legislature, executive and judicial, replacing them with Sharia law!

4. Finally (and this being my last...rushed... section,  is highly compressed, as I could go on and on with more facts....) Obama is anything but patriotic.  That he possesses the hearts of so many left-leaning youth, refuses to voluntarily wear a flag on his lapel, that he and his wife  have previously not been proud of their Nation, and that he is so ready to characterize middle America as a gun toting, pickup truck driving, beer drinking crucible of ignorance, is without doubt enough reason for the populace to wake the hell up and see how empty his fragile eggshell mind of politics really is!!!  But what surprises me even more is the fact that so many ivory tower professorial types at so many American universities are insistent upon voting for him.  These erudite minds have been unwilling to see that Obama offers eloquent speech without substance,  There are so many other ways to reward the black race for past inequities that could be so much more meaningful.  Why, for God's sake do you want to risk our Nation with such an incompetent novice?  Maybe these Einsteins are thinking five to six steps ahead of me.  Maybe they want Obama now to demonstrate to the left-leaning 50% of our Nation that it was a Democrat that did such near-mortal damage to our Republic.  Surely that would be better that heaping such blameworthiness upon a middle-of-the-road, hero patriot prisoner of war like McCain.  Oh what a frustrating political roll of the dice this year will be!  God save our United States.


*Liberation theology is a bastardized theology "extracted" from Vatican II and created by a few Central American theologians in the '70's, namely, a Peruvian Catholic priest, Fr. Gustavo Gutiérrez, Paul Gauthier, et. al.  It was promptly and vehemently rejected by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who, over the last two scores, wrote and revised the entire Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church and who ultimately ascended to level of pope. Liberation theology combines Marxism with a loosened form of Christianity that was determined to be anathema to the Church's teachings and Christ's teachings.

Islamofascism, a term popularized by George Bush before the career Dems that wring their hands within the State Department began to complain about this term, is an unnecessary elaboration of a concept well-known to even our Founding Fathers.  The Moroccan "barbary coast pirates" that converted so many American  and British colonists into shackeled slaves at one time demanded one million dollars from our first President, George Washington. This was to be paid as a ransom for our early citizens enslaved by these pirates as our ships were illegally boarded and our wares confiscated.  These were Muslims, driven by the same hatred for Christians and Jews that prevails today.  The Koran and its supporting documents, in the main, support the killing of non-believers or the dhimmies who refuse to pay ransoms.  Only left wing pacifists and their ilk blame our Country for bad relations with Muslims abroad.  They refuse to believe that orthodox Muslims following orthodox Islam would take an innocent life, or that their faith is driven by violence.  Even a cursory review of the Koran reveals that violence is an accepted practice amongst Muslims.  So called "moderate Muslims" are the equivalent of the non-practicing Catholic or the "reformed Jew" in that they do not follow all of the tenets of their faith, but try to respect most of them.  Moderate Muslims are not well versed in the details of Islam, as the details would reveal to the careful but casual observer that murder and torture are accepted practices within Islam.  Our Founders knew this.  Over 3000 Americans learned this within a few fateful minutes on September 11, 2001 in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.  We who read and refuse to gloss over know this.  And yes, even the peacenik handringers who pace the halls of the State Department know this.  But they have decided, as a matter of political correctness, to try to conceal this by issuing edicts that force our citizenry to avoid terminology that embues the truth.  But denial of these truths deprive us of certain liberties, which we must never allow.  Please pick up a copy of Andrew McCarthy's  Willful Blindness:A Memoir of the Jihad.  Read it and also read any book by Robert Spencer.  Go to Daniel Pipes.com and read articles by this Islam expert, and then refresh your knowledge of the handful of Crusades that existed in centuries past.  Maybe members of the State Department will do the same.  Because after their communique released this week to abandon words like Islamofascism and Jihad, the well-read among us will know who  is denying the truth and eroding our liberty.
